Christmas 2011 (Joshua's 1st)

The weekend before Christmas we had our early but tasty Christmas meal. We had the festive turkey which lasted for a few days after as usual, we had the crackers which again full of stupid jokes and plastic toys. This was Joshy's first Christmas meal, as you can see in the piccys below he enjoyed it.

Our family as usual, at christmas, have our table full of junk food to last us the next month. In these two pics this wasn't all the drink and food we had some are in the fridge and freezer.

 Joshy and his mummy:

This was Josh's first Christmas prezzie on Christmas day, such a beautiful rocking horse from his granny & grandad.

This was my fave prezzie out of all of them, my Ipod Touch!! This was from my lovely boyfriend, he had the nice flower cover, a pink sock and he even set a picture of me and him as my wallpaper. <3 I'm very lucky!

x-mas lead up

I have been watching all my fave x-mas films to get me all ready for Christmas. Films like 'Christmas with the Kranks', 'Elf' and 'Four Christmases'.What is your annual Christmas film?

I today gave my two bestfriends their prezzies. If you haven't got yours yet here are the prezzies I got them for ideas:
Both for girls
  • Cocktail bath set. From Peacocks (included bath bombs, smellys and a scrubber) what girl don't want this for Christmas?!
  • Bobble hat from Peacocks (brown with two bobbles like animal ears)
  • Maltesers
  • Minstrels
For the last few days my jokes on my advent calender have been:
'How do witches tell the time?'
'With a witch-watch'

'Who delivers cat's presents?'
'Santa paws'

'Why did the tightrope walker visit the bank?'
'To check his balance'

Here are some Christmas piccy's I have done yesterday:

Autumn

I went down to the local field with my good friend Hannah, there we found lots of huge, orange fallen leaves. We thought we should take advantage of this and take some shots, we did some action pictures of her throwing them into the air. We came across 2 lady birds too, then walked down by the river. It was such a dull day so I had to set my ISO on the camera to a high level; something like 800.

Nativity play

Today I went to work experience, at a near by infant school and I helped out organise their nativity play. I usually go for work experience every Friday and I't absolutely fun! For the nativity the children were dressed up in all sorts of costumes: the normal Mary, Joseph, Donkey, Stars and Angel's outfits but there was also children dressed as people all round the world. There were 4 children as camels and one was called Humph. It turned out to be great all the kids did a great job. Got me into the spirit of x-mas. I remember when I was one of the many angels when I was in school. What was you in yours?
Also in today's door on my advent calender I had the joke:
'Who hides in the bakery at Christmas?'

'Mince spy'

It's now only 16 sleeps till Christmas!!!!

Leading up to Christmas 2011

It's only 17 more sleeps till Santa!!! Hope you all have your presents wrapped and you should now be up to your 8th door on your advent calenders. This year I have the Malteser's chocolate advent calender and today's joke behind the door was :
'What did baby corn say to mummy corn?'

'Where's popcorn?'

What are you fave Christmas songs of all time? Mine is 'Let it snow!' I also like the recent Xfactor Christmas song - 'Wishing on a star' :D
Here are some Christmas photos I have taken to get you in the Christmas spirit;

Up Close Shots

I decided to do my own lil photography project to do with close-ups of people's faces as it seems quite interesting to be this intensely close. Its a chance to acknowledge their facial features.
